Eventually the tilt just got too much for us, it was very difficult walking up and down the boat, it was like parking your car sideways on a hill, very disconcerting!  So this afternoon, whilst I was making a casserole, Clive cast off and cruised up the canal for about half a mile and then re-moored we are now level again!  We can only assume that the boat had been resting on silt which, for some reason wasnt obvious when we moored up in the ice the other day, apart from the fact that we couldnt get the stern right into the bank.  Its odd though, unless the water level has dropped, that the tilt seemed to increase whilst we were moored there.  Oh well it will just have to remain one of lifes little mysteries!   So thats it really more later!
