Glad to hear you might be heading this way. (Tea and Cake if you ring first!!)

Vernon and I are both keeping well and warm!

I did hear that moorings near Jesus Lock are to be 'limited' but guess Clayhithe is still open to visitors!!

We still have our Cottenham Session on the 2nd Monday of each month...............

Have fun!

Lovely to read up on your adventures, Mel. I'm sure there are loads of us who, despite never being likely to up sticks and lead a similar life, nevertheless have a secret longing to do so, and are `VERY ENVIOUS of you and Clive!!

LOved the photo's of Hobbiton in particular, as we shall be there ourselves in just a few weeks! Yay! So pleased you finally got this blog post done and dusted!! Lx

Lovely to catch up with your blog. When Vernon was 65 we took him to Raptor centre at Woodhurst and he had a lovely treat handling all the owl etc. I have a picture of him holding an Eagle Owl (very heavy) and he helped fly the birds.

We have just invested in a WAV (Wheelchair accessible vehicle) with a winch. Much better for Vernon and saves a lot of 'tranfers' from car to chair.

Lots of love and 'Bon Voyage'

Hi Melanie,
Lovely to see you again earlier today, haven't we had a belting day. Our Huddersfield friends really enjoyed their day afloat.
Enjoy your summer cruising and hope to meet up again sometime.

Hi Melanie, Just read the blog... great to have you back "on air" again. Looking forward to keping track of your wanderings in the coming months. Maybe that irish trip will happen yet! We are off to NZ again on May 28th for a month. Christchurch here we come... just hope it won't be third time unlucky for the Breens. Damien was only there three weeks when the last shake hit! He has taken to life in New Zealand like a native. Thanks in no small way to our "earthquake" friends Jacqui Whiting and her family and their friend Tony Newell. Looking forward to geting to know the geography of England and its' waterways over the coming weeks as we log in and enjoy your blog. Happy sailing!

Thank you for your latest blogging Mel! I thoroughly enjoyed reading about what you've been up to and the photographs of the stunning scenery made it come alive all the more. When I saw the Belfast sink I thought 'aha, Mel and Clive are beginning to look like permanent residents of the Lady Arwen'! You can't beat having fresh herbs and vegetables, so well done you! It's now 03.50 in the morning, so I think I ought to go back to bed. Just woke up hungry at 2.30am and had a bit of home made bread and coffee for an early breakfast. Keep well and keep happy and love every day! :-) Moyra x
